Roadway Improvement Projects

We'll be seeing lots of roadway improvement projects in Napa during the next six years.  When it is all done, we will have great roads and bridges, in addition to much improved flood protection from the Napa River and Napa Creek.  We may all have to make changes on how we travel in Napa during this extended construction period.

During the construction period, a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) will help us maintain acceptable traffic flow in the area.  The City of Napa, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District and the Napa County Transportation Agency are working together to ensure that the important capital investment efforts they are undertaking can be accomplished efficiently, effectively and with a minimum amount of disruption to the daily lives of Napa businesses, residents, workers, and visitors.

Below is a graph highlighting the most significant roadway improvement projects planned and the sponsors of each.
